Short Stuff's First Horse Show!!!
We are so proud of our daughter! This weekend Short Stuff competed in her first horse show. We were there to see how the horses would do in an indoor arena and for the girls to experience a real show. We were shocked to learn that Short Stuff placed!
Here is a picture of all the girls in our group. Short Stuff is also a part of a newly formed Equestrian Drill Team and these girls are also on the team. We are looking forward to their first exhibition June 16.
Little Man was also very proud of his sister!

Here is Short Stuff showing off all her ribbons. She recieved 6th place in Trail, 5th place in Walk and Trot and 4th place in Barrels. Then her and another little girl recieved the Sportsmanship Award! We were so excited for her! This is her favorite horse, Waco. He is 29 years old!

Preggie Sisters
For the first time, I am having the wonderful experience of being pregnant at the same time as my sister. Although this is my fourth and her first, we are still enjoying sharing this time with each other. The down side is that we live about 7 hours apart and seeing each other often is difficult. Well a couple weeks ago I flew up to see her for the weekend (yes, by myself!) and we got to spend some time together. We are due about 6 weeks apart so I won't be able to visit when she has the baby (which is very soon!).
Anyway, I wanted to share some pictures we took together. Enjoy!

The mind of a child . . .
We went to the library yesterday and the girls each picked out a book. My youngest quickly brought me back a book on airplanes and my oldest followed with a Curious George Book. That was quick!
Today I mentiond to Tinker that she could sit down and read her airplane book. She said "nah." I responded with "Why did you pick it out if you don't want to read it?" She being the quickest out of the bunch came back with "I wanted to learn how to become an airplane." And she proceeded to fly around the room like an airplane.
Gotta love her!
