Craigslist Series Part 8

Well I just have to share with you my latest find on craigslist. I LOVE it! I am in the process of re-organizing the house and most of that includes taking large furniture and trading it for smaller furniture. So the big corner desk went out and I found this baby on our local craigslist. It fits so much better in my home and it is a nice piece of furniture. It also works very hard!

Pro-Life Day and what it means to me

After reading a friends blog today about her experience with miscarriage, I felt I had to share! I am VERY pro-life and my choice to have as many children as the Lord grants has been a decision that most find irresponsible. I have had 5 miscarriages to my 4 alive children. Needless to say I have felt the loss of a child. I can't express my feelings as well as Michelle does, so please read her blog.

Grandkid update!

For all the grandparents out there (and those that like to watch my goofy family) here is a video of my youngest latest skill. Fencing.

Craigslist Series Part 7

And of course the necessities in life (well in US life). We found this set of used washer and dryer for a grand total of $200. But better than that, I made my first Colorado friend. I ended up buying an old dresser from

her and my beautiful bedroom set! I have had lunch with her and we keep up with each other on facebook now!

Here is the bedroom suit. Well part of it. It has the queen size bed, two night stands, a long dresser with mirror and an upright dresser. Just beautiful. First time I have owned a matching set at a steal for $300. I'm counting it as it came indirectly from craigslist!

Craigslist Series Part 6

Next in line is where we place our rumps! I got these four stools and four chairs off of craigslist too! I bought this table and 1 bench back in AL for $15! So I bought chairs when we arrived in CO. Our new house is blessed with a bar area, so these stools work perfect for extra rump room.

Craigslist Series Part 5

This is my absolute favorite find!! I have been wanted a coffee table like this forever! And it looks great in my living room. It is now where all my blankets are stored. Did I mention that I absolutely love this table? I paid more for it than I normally would give for "things" but I know I got a fair price for it and it was something I have always been looking for.

Now I'm gonna share with you about what I have gotten for FREE off of craigslist. I love free - especially when it is useful.

The picture included is the free desk we got for the kids computer. It is a nice desk. And the broken drawer happened on the way home, so we need to glue it back together. But not bad - for free!

And yesterday I picked up leftover landscaping bricks that worked perfect to frame in the rabbit poop under the rabbit cages. We can use that for fertilizer and worm beds!

I also picked up some scrap wood - just perfect for building rabbit nesting boxes.

Coordinate your free pick-ups with other errands and the gas doesn't cost so much!
